Barbara Gail Smith, a beloved mother, wife, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on July 1, 2023, in Ocala, Florida. Born on December 8, 1954, in Newark, New Jersey, to Michelina and Edward Bolesche, Barbara lived a life filled with joy, laughter, and love.

Barbara's zest for life was infectious. Her happy-go-lucky attitude was a source of joy and inspiration to all who knew her. She was known for her infectious laughter, her selfless nature, and her unwavering love for her family and friends. Barbara's ability to find humor in any situation was one of her most endearing qualities, she was the heartbeat of every gathering and the source of many smiles. 

An accomplished crafter, Barbara had a special talent for beading. Her intricate and beautiful works of art were treasured by all who were fortunate enough to receive them. She found joy in creating, and it was through her creations that she expressed her love and care for those around her. Her hands were rarely still, as she was always looking for new projects to tackle or new techniques to learn. 

Barbara was a devoted wife to her husband, Leonard Smith. Their marriage was a beautiful partnership filled with love, respect, and mutual support. Barbara was not only Leonard's wife but also his best friend. Together, they built a life filled with beautiful memories. Barbara was also a loving mother to her son, Leonard Patrick Smith. She instilled in him the values of kindness, compassion, and hard work. 

Barbara was a cherished sister to her brothers, Douglas and Steven Bolesche. Their bond was strong, and they shared many good times together. Barbara's family was her world. She loved them fiercely and was always there for them, offering a listening ear, a comforting word, or a warm hug. 

She had a special place in her heart for her dogs, Chloe, PJ, Baby Bear and Nelson. They brought her immense joy, and she loved them as if they were her own children. Her home was always filled with the sound of their happy barks and the sight of wagging tails. 

Barbara Gail Smith leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and creativity. She touched many lives with her kindness, her humor, and her talent. Her memory will live on in the hearts of her son, Leonard Patrick Smith; her brothers, Douglas and Steven Bolesche; her father, Edward Bolesche; her dogs, Chloe, PJ, and Baby Bear Nelson; and a host of family and friends who loved her dearly. She was preceded in death by her mother Michelina and her beloved husband Leonard.

Barbara's life was a testament to the power of positivity, love, and laughter. She will be deeply missed, but her spirit will continue to inspire and uplift all who knew her. Barbara Gail Smith was a beacon of light in this world, and her light will continue to shine in the hearts of those who loved her.
