Blas Delfin Castano was born on November 13th, 1955 in San Juan Manila, Philippines. He was the son of Marcela Ligaya Castano (deceased) and brother of Leonida Alonzo (deceased). He was a wonderful father and survived by his 2 children, GianCarlo Castano and Babylyn Castano Roos. Kyle Thomas Roos was Blas's son-in-law, and the father of his 2 grandchildren. Blas is the proud grandfather of Sophia Lyn Roos and Thomas Albert Roos. He prides himself as a hardworking Mechanical Engineer. He earned his engineering degree from Feati University in the Phillipines and migrated to America in 1991. His achievements include employment in several prestigious companies such as Intel, Motorolla, Stanford Microsystems Inc in the Phillipines; Swire Technology in Hong Kong; Semitech Engineering in California; and Compaq Computers in Houston, TX which later became the company we know today as Hewlett-Packard. Blas was a passionate Christian musician and often played his guitars at the local church. He is a loving father. He sought to become the best provider he can be to his family. Blas relocated to Ocala, Florida for a job opportunity where he unfortunately met with his maker on Sunday, July 16th due to acute health issues. He was only 67 years old. He is dearly missed for all the good memories he left his loved ones
