Bobbie Jean Hernandez, known affectionately as Bobbie to her friends and loved ones, passed away peacefully on October 1, 2025, in Ocala, Florida, at the age of 43. Born on July 29, 1982, in Hattiesburg, Mississippi, Bobbie's warm smile and generous spirit were a blessing to all who knew her.
Bobbie's life was marked by her deep love for her family. She is survived by her devoted husband, Oscar Diaz Cruz, her children Mya Ezperanza Hernandez, Ethan Louis Carbajal, Zenon Alfredo Carbajal, Katie Earlene Carbajal, Martha Cali Diaz and Oscar Rolando Diaz Jr. three grandchildren Christopher "Mateo" Hernandez, Antonio "Tony" Hernandez, Kaison Hernandez, her siblings Della Wanice Ramos (Cristino), George Edward McCraw (Francis) Jimmy Ray McCraw. and a slew of nieces and nephews. She is proceeded in death by her parents Edward and Tina McCraw and sister Jeannie Lynn Ford.
From an early age, Bobbie discovered a passion for music that would be a constant throughout her life. Whether it was singing in the church choir or dancing around the living room with her children, music brought joy to Bobbie and to those around her. Her faith was a cornerstone of her existence, and she cherished the fellowship and sense of community she found in her church.
Bobbie's nurturing nature extended to her garden, where she spent countless serene hours tending to her plants. Her garden was a testament to her patience and care, flourishing under her attentive eye. Friends and family often said that her garden was like an extension of Bobbie herself—full of life, vibrant, and comforting.
Above all, Bobbie will be remembered for her kind heart and her ability to make every person she met feel like the most important person in the room.
