Born on August 19, 1953, in Owensboro, Kentucky, Bruce's life was a testament to the power of positivity and the depth of human kindness. He was a loving husband to his wife, Jayme, a guiding light to his sons, Jim and Justin, and a cherished "Papaw" to his grandchildren, Aubrey, Addalyn, and Anderson.

Bruce's early life in Owensboro set the stage for a journey filled with love, laughter, and the pursuit of knowledge. His sisters, Brenda and Ruthie, along with his Aunts, Margaret, Jeannie, Jean and Larry, and Ann, were integral parts of his life, providing support and shared memories that would last a lifetime.

Professionally, Bruce was known for his sharp mind and keen eye for detail, retiring as a highly respected Senior Estimator for Wellington Construction. His contributions to the industry were significant, and his colleagues will remember him not only for his expertise but also for the warmth and humor he brought to the workplace.

Bruce's interests were as vibrant and diverse as his personality. With a passion for tropical plants and animals, he earned the affectionate nickname "Dr. Doolittle" among friends and family. His backyard was a lush sanctuary where nature thrived under his care, and his knowledge of the natural world was as expansive as his curiosity.

Bruce's legacy is one of unwavering love and boundless enthusiasm for life. He nurtured his family with devotion, inspired his friends with his wit, and approached every day with a spirit that was undeniably uplifting. The memories he leaves behind will be treasured as reminders of the remarkable man he was with thanks to his Loving parents, Charlie and Betty Head that he will now be with.
