David Lee Buhrkuhl, 71, of Dunnellon Florida, passed away at Cate’s Hospice House on October 1, 2024.

He was born in Springdale, Arkansas to Robert and Margarette Buhrkuhl. David attended Buena High School in 1972. He learned his trade from his father and then used the trade of setting tile from Arizona to Florida and building up Del Webb projects in the 70’s & 80’s. He traveled the country on his terms and made many friends along the way that made him part of their families. He touched so many lives with his wit and stories of the past and looking forward to the present. He truly lived in the moment. He was also a great grower of many types of plants and loved all of God’s animals. He enjoyed sitting outside taking in the sunrise and sunsets and took awesome photos of those beautiful skies. He is loved by many and loved many.

David was preceded in death by his Father and Mother Robert and Margarette Buhrkuhl, Robert Knox Buhrkuhl (brother), William Buhrkuhl (brother), Roberta Buhrkuhl Benefield (sister)and Diane Dabbour the love of his life, and is survived by Euletta Thompson (sister), Jeanne Kay Gaddis (Bob) (sister), Becky Petersen (Chris) (sister), many nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews.
