David Ray Parker, known affectionately as DUB to his friends and family, passed away on December 3, 2023, at the age of 60, in Ocala, Florida. Born on April 11, 1963, in Battlecreek, Michigan, DUB was a man whose laughter and love for the great outdoors touched the lives of all who knew him.

DUB's sense of adventure was matched only by his humor. He was an individual who lived each day with a spirited zest, finding joy and amusement in life’s simple moments. His stories and jokes were the highlight of many gatherings, leaving a lasting impression of warmth and merriment.

A true outdoorsman, DUB's happiest times were spent camping along the river and retreating into the tranquility of the woods. His passion for nature was infectious, inspiring others to appreciate the beauty and serenity that the natural world has to offer. DUB's respect for wildlife extended to his remarkable talent as a dog whisperer. His love for his canine companions knew no bounds, and he shared an extraordinary bond with his dogs Kana, Blue, and his beloved Sugar, who preceded him in death.

DUB's legacy is carried on by his devoted wife, Vickie Parker, who stood by his side through 31 years of life's many adventures. He is survived by 2 sisters. His family, a testament to his loving nature, will continue to honor DUB's memory by embracing the joy he found in everyday life.

DUB's life was a testament to the power of positivity and the importance of embracing every moment. His approach to life was simple: live fully, laugh often, and always make time for the things you love. This philosophy was evident in everything he did, from his love for his dogs to his passion for the great outdoors.

A Celebration of Life has been planned by the family and they request all tokens of sympathy be brought to the service as the venue cannot accept deliveries.
