Devin Dante Canton, known affectionately as Devin to his friends and family, passed away peacefully on December 16, 2025, in Ocala, Florida. Born on May 9, 1992, in, Pennsylvania, Devin's early years were spent in Preble, New York marked by a warmth and enthusiasm that would define his entire life. His departure from this world leaves a void in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.

Devin's life was one of dedication and joy, shared with his beloved wife Kaitlyn and cherished son Zander. Together, they managed the daily operations of Buena Vista Farm since 2022. Devin's passion for the farm was evident in every task he undertook, from caring for the horses to mentoring Zander in the art of living a fulfilling life on the land. His love for his work was infectious, and he found great satisfaction in teaching his skills to others.

A family man at heart, Devin was a pillar of strength and love for his family. He is survived by his wife Kaitlyn, his son Zander, his father Jon Stevens, his sister Dominique Mantella and husband Dom, his brother Adam Stevens, and beloved nieces and nephew. His extended family and a wide circle of friends also feel the loss of this exceptional man. Devin was preceded in death by his mother, Jeannette Stevens, and his grandmother, Lois Waffner, both of whom he loved deeply and remembered fondly.

Devin's interests extended beyond the farm. He was an avid traveler, especially drawn to the beauty and majesty of National Parks across the United States. These trips with Kaitlyn created a tapestry of memories that will be cherished forever. An enthusiast of the outdoors, Devin also found solace and excitement in paddleboarding, embracing the tranquility of the water.

His mechanical skills were not just a hobby but a passion, as he spent countless hours fixing motorcycles and riding with his father, Jon. The bond they shared was fortified by the roar of engines and the open road, a testament to their shared love of adventure and family.

Above all, Devin was the life of the party, a man who never met a stranger and had the rare gift of making everyone feel welcome and valued. His legacy will be one of kindness, as he always looked out for those around him, ensuring that laughter and camaraderie were ever-present.

The world is undoubtedly a lesser place without Devin's bright smile and generous spirit. However, his legacy of love, laughter, and the joy of living life to the fullest will continue to inspire all who were fortunate enough to know him. Devin Dante Canton will be deeply missed, but his light will continue to shine in the hearts and memories of his family and friends.
