It is with great sadness that the family of Ellen Yannon Cuddy announces her passing. Ellen was born on May 14, 1955, and was the beloved daughter of the late Joseph A. Yannon and Ellen Facciolli. She grew up in Staten Island, NY, alongside her older siblings, the late Robert “Bob” Yannon and Joseph E. Yannon, who survives her along with his wife, Maryann Yannon, and her beloved nieces and nephews.

Ellen was formerly married and was the devoted mother of her beautiful daughter, Kiera Cuddy, who preceded her in death in 2023. The bond between Ellen and Kiera was unbreakable, and her family finds comfort in knowing that they are reunited once again.

Ellen was known for her honesty and her unmistakable, unfiltered sense of humor. She had a huge heart and a home always open to animals in need, every pet she had was a rescue, and she adored each one deeply. She was a devoted and loyal mother, sister, aunt, and friend.

Ellen was an incredible hairdresser, and all who knew her knew how much this defined her. She poured passion, creativity, and care into her craft, touching countless lives through her work and the conversations shared in her chair. 

Ellen had an offbeat sense of humor that could brighten any room. She loved gardening, spending time in nature, and expressing her feelings through her gifts of drawing and crafting. Her creativity, warmth, and quirky charm will be cherished by all who knew her.

Ellen now rests peacefully with her parents, her brother Bob, and her beloved daughter, Kiera.
