Frances L Nicolia Obituary

Frances L. Nicolia 85, of Silver Springs, Florida, formerly of Lancaster, Ohio passed away on June 9, 2025. Frances was a graduate of Bloom Carroll High School. She retired from Hordis Brothers (CE Glass) before moving to Florida.

Frances will always be remembered for her infectious laugh, which could still be heard 10 minutes after the joke was told. She loved her family deeply and even from Florida cheered on her Ohio State Buckeyes.

Frances is survived by longtime partner Alfred Perry. Children Kathy (Terry) Adams, Gerald "Jerry"(Wanda) Nicolia, and Kaylee Johnson. Grandchildren; Ryan Fields, Randy Fields Tiffany (Austin) Wildermuth, Jaimie (Chris) Grippin, Joey (Katrina) Taylor, Shawn Johnson, great grandchildren: Alexa and Rylee Fields, Harper Wildermuth, Laylia Bryan, Mykel,Nathan Johnson, Sophie Taylor and great great-grandson Cameron Fields. Brothers, John "Jr." (Pat) Boyer, William (Sue) Boyer, sister Becky Boyer and special friend Mike Shugert as well as many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents John and Esther Boyer and brother George Boyer.

At her wish, she was cremated with care by Ocala Funeral and Cremation Care in Ocala, Florida. A small graveside service for family and close friends will be held at Betzer Cemetery in Carroll, Ohio on July 21, 2025, at 11:00 am.
