Born on January 28, 1953, in the vibrant community of St. Margot, Haiti, Garno lived a full and joyous life, marked by his unwavering love for his family, his passion for lively gatherings, and his enduring spirit of generosity.

Garno's early years in Haiti laid the foundation for a life characterized by resilience and the importance of kinship. His infectious laughter and zest for life were apparent from a young age, traits that he carried with him across the seas to Belleview, where he became a beloved figure in his community. Family was the cornerstone of Garno's world. He leaves behind a legacy of love and strength in his children, Danie St. Hilaire, Francklin St. Hilaire, Wilguin Desrosiers, Tamara St. Hilaire, Mireille Ulysse, Garnoson Desrosiers, and Jean Edgard Citern. His grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who brought him immeasurable joy, will remember their 'Granpapa' as a beacon of laughter and wisdom. His siblings, Rene Ferdinand, Sergo St. Hilaire, Gosue Ferdinand, Marielle Ferdinand, Nerlie Ferdinand, Jean Claude Joseph, and Rodely Ferdinand, along with his great aunt Marie Eugene, nieces, and nephews, will cherish memories of Garno's unwavering support and the precious moments they shared.
