Haiden Garrett Hightower, affectionately known by all who loved him as Haiden, passed away in his hometown of Ocala on July 23, 2023. Born on September 17, 2006, to Robert Hightower and Sara Wright, Haiden's youthful spirit, loving heart, and thoughtful nature touched the lives of many during his brief 16 years.
 He was a talented artist whose creativity spilled over into his everyday life. His passion for music was unmistakable. A connoisseur of video games, Haiden was known for his strategic mind and competitive spirit. Yet, he also had a deep appreciation for the great outdoors, often finding solace and joy in hunting and fishing.
Born and raised in Ocala, Haiden was a beloved son, grandson, brother, nephew, and friend. He is survived by his father, Robert Hightower; his mother, Sara Wright; his grandmother, Barbara Hightower; his brothers, Kaleb Held and William Hightower; his sister, Madelyn Hightower; his Aunt Christy Rhodes; his Uncle Jarod Rhodes; as well as a host of other family members and friends. Haiden was preceded in death by his grandfather, Richard Hightower.
Haiden was a kind soul who radiated positivity and joy. His warm smile and gentle spirit were a beacon of light to those around him. He was known for his kindness, a trait that was deeply ingrained in his character and reflected in his actions. He had a unique ability to bring joy and laughter into any room, his presence a comforting reminder of the power of love and friendship.
Haiden was not only a loving son and a caring brother but also a loyal friend. He had an uncanny ability to make others feel seen and valued, often putting the needs of others before his own. His friends knew they could count on him for a listening ear, a comforting word, or a shared laugh.
In Haiden's short life, he left an indelible mark on the hearts of all who knew him. His love for life, his passion for music and art, his zest for outdoor adventures, and his deep love for his family and friends will continue to inspire those who were privileged to know him.
