Harris is survived by his loving wife, Nayara, and his adoring children, Navita Crystal, Avita Kristina, Avendra Harris, Akhil Liam, and Anaiya Devi Chand. He also leaves behind his former wife, Satie Chand, his devoted mother, Gangadai Chand, and his caring siblings, Vishnu, Balman, and Kavita Chand. His father, Neville Rudolph Chand, and his brother, Randy Chand, preceded him in death, and we find comfort in the belief that they have welcomed him with open arms.

He owned and operated his own ice cream refreshment business, known affectionately by the community as "the ice cream man."
