Jeremy Scott Head Obituary

Jeremy Scott Head, known affectionately as Jay to his friends and family, passed away at the age of 31 on February 4, 2024, in Ocala, Florida. Born on September 23, 1992, in Richmond, Virginia, Jay was a beacon of joy and laughter, touching the lives of all who had the pleasure of knowing him.

He is survived by his cherished daughter, Chanelle Head, who was the pride and joy of his life. His legacy will also live on through his devoted parents, Nathan and Stacy Head, Allen and Stephanie Eggers. His siblings Joshua Head, Katie Dreier and her husband Cody, Spencer and Abby Eggers, as well as grandparents, aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews and a host of family and friends. Each family member played a significant role in his life, providing support, love, and countless happy memories.

Jay was the embodiment of life. His presence alone could illuminate the darkest of spaces, and his infectious smile was truly contagious. He shared an unbreakable bond with his two beloved dogs, Diesel and Sadie, who were his constant companions and brought him immense joy.

One of Jay's most remarkable qualities was his ability to connect with people. He never met a stranger, and his open heart and warm spirit made everyone feel like an old friend. Full of faith and positivity, he approached life with a resilience and optimism that inspired those around him.

A lover of music, Jay found solace and happiness in melodies and rhythms. His sense of humor was unparalleled, and he was known for his unique and hearty laugh that could echo through any room. He had a talent for playing pranks and telling jokes, always aiming to bring a smile to others' faces.

Jay's light was indeed bright, and today it shines even brighter as we remember the love and laughter he brought into our lives. His humor, love, and the ability to find joy in every moment are the qualities that best describe him. These attributes will be the guiding lights for his friends and family as they navigate through this time of loss.

To say that Jay was funny would be an understatement; he was the life of the party, the spark in the darkness, and the warmth in the cold. His laughter was one of a kind, a sound that will resonate in the hearts of those who loved him forever.

In his passing, Jay would not want us to mourn but to celebrate the time we had with him. He lived his life fully, embracing each day with open arms and a fearless heart. We will honor his memory by living as he did—with love, laughter, and a deep appreciation for the precious moments we share with one another.

Jay's story is not one of sorrow but of a life beautifully lived and a soul that will continue to brighten our world. He was a loving father, a cherished son, a true friend, and a bright light in the lives of many. As we say goodbye, we take comfort in knowing that Jay's spirit will live on through the smiles and laughter he inspired in us all.
