Jerry Eugene Dover Jr., a loving father, brother, and son, passed away peacefully in Ocala, Florida on July 14, 2023. Born in Conway, Arkansas on November 14, 1979, Jerry was known for his adventurous spirit, friendly demeanor, and infectious humor.

Jerry is survived by a large and loving family. His father, Jerry E Dover Sr of North Carolina, provided a strong and steady presence in his life. His sisters, Margaret (Dover) Fry of South Bend, Indiana, Charity (Michael) Camp of Florence, Alabama, and Jillian (Dover) Thornton of North Carolina, along with his brother Charles (Penny) Joice of Dunnellon, Florida, shared countless memories and laughter-filled moments with him. Jerry was a proud father to his three daughters, Courtney, Summer, and Samantha of Florida, and his son, Stanley T Dover of Ocala, Florida. He was a favorite uncle to many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. Preceding him in death was his dear mother, Joyce Dover.

Jerry spent his career as a roofer in the construction industry. His dedication to his work was evident to all who knew him. Jerry was not just a man who worked with his hands, but also one who put his heart into every project. His colleagues will remember him not only for his skill and diligence but also for his camaraderie and the positive energy he brought to the job site.

In his personal life, Jerry was a lover of the outdoors. He enjoyed riding four-wheelers and exploring nature, always looking for his next adventure. He had a knack for turning ordinary days into memorable experiences with his sense of humor and friendly personality. 

A celebration of Jerry's life will be held on July 30, 2023, at the Rum Village Park. His family and friends will gather to share stories, remember his vibrant spirit, and honor the joy he brought into their lives. This occasion will be a testament to Jerry's enduring impact, his zest for life, and the love he shared with those around him.
