JoAnn Schonthal, passed away peacefully on January 24, 2025, in The Villages, Florida.

Born on February 8, 1947, in New Jersey, JoAnn lived a life marked by music, and cherished moments with family and friends.

JoAnn graduated from Orange High School. She continued her education at the University of Florence, Italy, where she lived for 26 years and nurtured a lifelong love for travel. After her adventures abroad, JoAnn returned to the United States.

JoAnn's interests were as vibrant and diverse as her personality. She enjoyed debating about the political and social status of the day. She loved music and dancing. JoAnn was also an avid cruiser, taking to the seas to explore new horizons and experience other cultures. Other times, she dinned, golfed, and played cards with friends.

JoAnn leaves behind her son, Lorenzo and wife Dina, granddaughters, Siena and Alessia. Sisters, Pam and Marianna, nieces, Beth, Amanda, and Allison, brother-in-law, Guy, Great nieces, Cayla, Tyler, and Millie.

Those who knew JoAnn will remember her as feisty and adventurous.

JoAnn's memory will forever dance in the hearts of those who love her.
