Johanna Santiago Velez, lovingly known as Johanna by friends and family, passed away peacefully on September 7, 2023, in Ocala, Florida. Born on April 25, 1981, in Yauco, Puerto Rico, Johanna was a beacon of love, kindness, and thoughtfulness throughout her 42 years of life.

Johanna was the beloved daughter of Carmen Velez and Arcenio Santiago Molina, cherished sister to Celibee Santiago, Arcenio Santiago, Jose Santiago, and Elias Santiago. She was a devoted mother to her two children, Jomairaly's Cruz Santiago and Antonio Marco Melo, who were the center of her universe. Her love for her family was profound and unwavering, and her home was filled with warmth and laughter.

Being a homemaker, Johanna poured her heart into creating a nurturing environment for her family. Her home was an open door to all, a testament to her generous spirit and welcoming nature. She was the heart of her family, her love and care seeping into every corner of her home, making it a place of comfort and joy for all who entered.
