Kandice Danielle Nesmith,  known as Kandi to her friends and loved ones, passed away at the age of 41 on August 13, 2025, in Ocala, Florida. Born on January 8, 1984, in Augusta, Georgia, Kandi's infectious smile and generous spirit were a gift to all who knew her. 

Throughout her life, Kandi was a beacon of friendship and kindness. Her ability to connect with people was unparalleled; she never met a stranger and had the unique ability to make everyone feel like they mattered. Her laughter was contagious, her presence a comfort to those around her. Her love for the Florida Gators was well-known, and game days were always a special time of camaraderie and excitement for Kandi.

Kandi's enthusiasm for crafting was more than a hobby; it was a way for her to share her heart with others. Each creation was a token of her love and care, often becoming cherished keepsakes for friends and family. Her love for music, especially the tunes of Morgan Wallen, was a constant source of joy and expression.

Her dedication to her family was unwavering. Kandi is survived by her devoted mother, Penny Nesmith of Winter Haven, Florida, and her beloved children, William Hardin of Ocala, Cameron Hardin, and Jadelyn Williams of Winter Haven, Florida. Her brother, Ronald Justin Nesmith of North Carolina, shared a special bond with her, as did her numerous cousins, who were more like siblings to her. Kandi was preceded in death by her father, Ronald Nesmith, and her cherished grandparents, Robert and Mary Purvis, and Barbara and Jr. Nesmith.

Kandi's legacy is one of love, laughter, and the enduring power of relationships. She lives on in the hearts of her family, the smiles of her children, and the countless memories shared with friends. Her spirit, as bright and vivacious as ever, continues to inspire those who were fortunate enough to know her. Kandi's journey on earth may have come to a close, but the impact of her life's story will be felt for generations to come.
