Lee's early years in Albion were filled with the joys of small-town life, where she cultivated a love for the simple pleasures that she carried with her throughout her life. Her passion for knitting and crocheting became a signature of her nurturing character, creating countless cherished keepsakes for those she loved. Her hands were rarely still, always busy with the next beautiful project that would bring comfort and joy to a friend or family member.
An avid card player, Lee's laughter could often be heard echoing through the rooms of her home during game nights. Her competitive spirit was always in good fun, and her love for these gatherings went beyond the games themselves; they were a means to connect, to share stories, and to create memories with those she held dear.
Lee was an outgoing, loving, caring, and kind woman, who never met a stranger. Her open heart and willingness to help others made her a cherished member of her community, and her absence will be deeply felt by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Lee's legacy is lovingly carried on by her devoted husband of 9 years, John Greggs Sr.; her son, Cameron Workman, and his wife, Amanda; her daughter, Heather Werner, and her husband, Paul; and her adored grandson, Matthew. Additionally, she leaves behind her brother, Loren Meale, who will miss her dearly. Lee was preceded in death by her beloved sister-in-law, Peggie Meale, with whom she shared many treasured moments.
Lee's life was a testament to the enduring power of love and the strength of family bonds. Her unwavering support and selfless nature were the cornerstones upon which her family thrived. Her guidance and wisdom will continue to be a guiding light for her loved ones.
