Linda Lou Nava, known lovingly as Linda, passed away on July 8, 2026, in Ocala, Florida, at the age of 77.

She was born on December 19, 1948, in Charleston, West Virginia, and carried the warmth, strength, and spirit of her roots throughout her life. Linda lived with a vibrant personality and a generous heart, leaving a lasting impression on everyone who had the privilege of knowing her. She was the kind of person who could brighten a room with her humor, her quick wit, and her unmistakable presence.

Linda was a devoted mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend. She is survived by her daughter, Brandee Pierce, her son, Scott Throop, and her grandson, Nick Harris. She also leaves behind her sisters, Donna Jean Stobie and Amy King, her brother, Fred Harris, along with cousins and an aunt who cherished her dearly. Her family was one of the greatest joys in her life, and she remained deeply connected to those she loved.

Those who knew Linda will remember her as funny, playful, and full of life. She had a mischievous side and was known as a prankster, but always with a heart of gold. Her humor brought laughter to many moments, and her kindness made people feel welcome and cared for. She was always willing to help anyone, and her compassion came naturally.
