Lisa Jean Cary, 51, of Ocala, Florida, passed away peacefully on November 28 th ,2023, after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born in Glens Falls, NY, to Steven
and Anita (Smith) Cary on July 21 st , 1972.She attended school in Granville, NY, before graduating from Rutland High School in 1990. Since high school, Lisa has mastered the art of waitressing in the food service industry. Most recently, she worked at the Northgate Diner and was well known for her friendly greetings and beautiful smile. Lisa exuded unconditional, self-sacrificing love, always putting the needs of others above her own, no matter what. She was the glue that brought everyone together. She enjoyed spending all of her time with family and friends. From entertaining them in front of the bonfire under her twinkle lights to making the long trip back to Vermont to visit family. She appreciated the little things in life that mattered most.

Survivors include her children Anita “Nena” Cary (Elliot), Davun “Little Man” Ware, and bonus daughter Lyric. Fiancé Craig Wilson, Mom JoHanna Genier, Brothers Aaron (Dawn) Weils, Steven
(Kym) Cary Jr, Alfred (Mary) Cary, Andrew Genier, Daniel Genier & Sister Celina Genier. 4 nephews: Corey, AJ, Jacob, Tyler, 4 nieces Alyssa “Girlse”, Baleigh “Peanut” (Ross), Marleigh “Mar Mar”, and Leondra. Cousins Jennifer & Michelle and friends Chris, and Miss Diane. Many Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, and Friends. She was predeceased by her mother Anita (1984), father Steven (2011), and sister Susanne Cary (2023).

There will be celebrations of life in Florida and Vermont at a later date.
