Michael Robert Kucera, age 60, passed away on July 31, 2026 at his home in Silver Springs, Florida.

Mike was born on June 08, 1966 in Cedar Rapids, Iowa to Lorraine and Francis Kucera.

Michael Kucera graduated from Jefferson High School in 1985 then attended CAC West where he completed his apprenticeship as a Tool and Dye Maker in 1991. Resulting in 35+ years in the trade.

Mike loved being outdoors. He had a passion for Harleys, his '68 RT Charger, but most of all fishing. Mike would go all across the US to find the best fishing spots. He enjoyed deep sea fishing, boats, and everything that involved the ocean. He dreamed of living on the beach where he could just fish and relax every day.

He is survived by his daughter, Jessica Kucera; granddaughters Liliana and Gracelyn Harris. As well as his siblings; Aaron Kucera, Janet and Gerald. He was preceded in death by his parents and childhood friends.

A celebration of life will be shared at a later date.
