Miriam Rivera Ramirez, known to her loved ones as Miriam, passed away peacefully in Ocala, Florida on August 22, 2023. She was born on October 26, 1946, in the charming town of Adjuntas, Puerto Rico to parents Ramon and Telesfora Rivera. 
 
Miriam was a beacon of love and laughter, a woman whose kindness knew no bounds. Her jovial spirit and loving nature were infectious, making every room she entered a little brighter. She was a homemaker by profession, but her real job was being the heart and soul of her family's home. Her unwavering devotion to her family was evident in every meal she cooked, every story she told, and every hug she gave. 
 
Her family was her pride and joy. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ramon and Telesfora, and her brother, Jimmy. She is survived by her daughters, Daisie Arguelles, and Denise Penaranda, lovingly married to Luis. She was a proud mother to her son, Hernan Arguelles. Her legacy continues to thrive through her eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. She also leaves behind six brothers, six sisters, and a multitude of friends and family who will miss her dearly.
 
Apart from her family, Miriam had a passion for wordsearch puzzles. She would spend hours immersed in them with a smile on her face. Music was another of her loves. She had a song for every occasion, and her home was always filled with melodies that reflected her vibrant spirit. 
 
She cherished sunflowers for their vitality and brightness, a reflection of her own personality. Their radiant yellow color was her favorite, a color she believed embodied joy and positivity. 
 
Miriam was a woman who found beauty in simplicity. She believed in the power of love and kindness, and she lived her life embodying these virtues. Her laughter was contagious, her kindness was limitless, and her love was unconditional. She was not just a mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, but a friend, a confidante, and a source of endless warmth and comfort.
 
Miriam's passing leaves a void that cannot be filled, but her spirit lives on in the hearts of those she touched. Her lessons of love, kindness, and joy continue to guide her family and friends. She may have left this world, but her memory remains, as vibrant and warm as a field of sunflowers under a bright blue sky.
