Monique Mitchell-Carson, known lovingly to many as "Money Mo", passed away on July 31, 2026, in Ocala, Florida, at the age of 51.

Born on July 12, 1975, in Brooklyn, New York, Monique carried the spirit of her hometown with her throughout her life. Monique was a devoted wife, mother, aunt, and family member whose love for her children was at the center of her life. She is survived her children, Asia Carson, Chyna Carson, and Parrish Mitchell; her husband Michael Carson, her Auntie Kenya Sykes; her Auntie Doreen Cousin; and her Uncle Jamal Williams. She was deeply connected to her family and valued the bonds that held them together. Her children were not only the joy of her life, but also her closest companions and best friends. She shared a special closeness with them that was built on love, laughter, honesty, and mutual respect.
