Nobuhiro Katsuzaki was born on March 29, 1950 in Hokkaido, Japan. He went home to be with the LORD on January 1, 2024 at the age of 73. “Nobu” moved to the United States in the 1970s, eventually settling in Sparr, Florida. He once worked as a chef. He also raised and raced greyhounds for a time, winning many trophies. Nobu had recently retired from his job as a bakery clerk for Publix where he worked for 15 years.
Nobu enjoyed watching tennis, football and baseball, especially if Shohei Ohtani was pitching. He also enjoyed playing his baby grand piano. Most importantly, Nobu came to love every opportunity he had to pray to his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
Nobu is survived by his adopted family in Christ: Cory and Kristen Snyder and their 5 children (Hayden, Madelyn, Evaley, Graysen, Adele) and many other brothers & sisters in Christ.
Nobu was a hard worker, a great cook and very generous. He loved to give gifts.
Nobu himself received the greatest gift of all on May 11, 2023 when God redeemed him through the life, death & resurrection of Jesus Christ and qualified Nobu to share in the inheritance of the saints in light. God rescued Nobu from the kingdom of darkness and transferred him to the kingdom of His beloved Son in whom Nobu has redemption, the forgiveness of sins. Therefore, we glorify God for the work that He did in Nobu’s life.
