Pedro A. Aguilo passed away peacefully on March 3, 2024, at the age of 81 in Ocala, Florida. He was born on May 29, 1942, in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. He was survived by wife, Luz M. Casanas, sons Joseph Aguilo and wife Lily, Pedro A. Aguilo Jr. & wife Faith. His grandson, Joseph Nicolas Aguilo was a source of immense pride and joy.
Pedro journeyed to the United States through Puerto Rico where he met Luz M. Casanas. Through constant persistent hard work & optimism they both endeavored to dreams in New York City. Together, they found a life of love, joy, laughter & struggles cultivating a marriage of 53 years.
Pedro ‘s interests was simple yet profound in the happiness they brought him. While an avid fan of the New York Yankees, watching their games was a favorite pastime but he also loved playing the lottery with hopefulness and optimism about chance of a lucky break. Above all, his greatest pleasure was spending quality time with his family, cherishing each moment and creating memories that would last a lifetime.
In his beginnings of building Faith, Pedro found solace and strength in reading the Bible as his spirit was nourished by its teachings. He was consistently eager to explore the Bible with his family and the joy it broughthim was evident through his joyful, kind, generous & optimistic demeanor. Pedro’s humorous energetic spirit meant he was always ready for a good laugh and his charisma made him a memorable presence in any gathering. He taught those around him the importance of consistent hard work, family, faith and finding joy in small things in life. His easygoing nature and ever-present smile were his trademarks making him a beacon of light in the lives of those he encountered!
As we say goodbye to Pedro, we are comforted that his spirit lives on in the hearts of his family, friends and all who have been touched by his warmth and love. He will be dearly missed, but the memory of his infectious smile and the sound of his laughter will remain with us forever.
We honor the life of Pedro A. Aguilo, a man of great working discipline, true embodiment of joy leaving a mark on this world through love he spread and lives he enriched. May he rest in peace in eternity and the heavenly residence!
