Robert Phillip Miller Obituary

Robert Phillip Miller, affectionately known to all as Bobby, passed away peacefully on February 7, 2026, in Ocala, Florida, at the age of 69. Born on April 16, 1956, in Lakeview, Ohio, Bobby was a man whose laughter and joyous spirit brought light to the lives of everyone he met.

A proud graduate of Auburn University, Bobby earned a bachelor's degree in business that laid the foundation for a successful career. His education went beyond the classroom, as he possessed an innate ability to connect with people, a skill that served him well both professionally and personally. His love for Auburn sports was unparalleled, and he spent many an autumn Saturday cheering on his beloved Tigers, a tradition he shared with his family and friends.

Bobby's interests were as vast as his heart. A passionate collector, he amassed an impressive array of coins and Auburn Sports memorabilia. Each piece in his collection told a story, a memory of a game, a shared moment with a fellow fan, or a token of his alma mater's history. His enthusiasm for his hobbies was infectious, and he loved nothing more than to share his latest find with anyone willing to listen.

To say that Bobby was outgoing and funny would be an understatement. His humor was a gift that he gave freely, never failing to elicit smiles and laughter from those around him. But above all, Bobby was a family man. He loved his family fiercely and took every opportunity to express that love through his actions and words.

Bobby's legacy is carried on by his devoted wife of 25 years, Cindy, and their children, Ronny and his wife Heather, Jennifer and her husband Mike. He was a proud grandfather to Gwen, Evelyn, Hazel, and George, each of whom brought him immeasurable joy and pride. Bobby's siblings, Bill Miller and his wife Mary Bibb, Georgia, and Tom and his wife Mary, will remember their brother with fondness and deep affection. His nieces, nephews, and a host of friends are left to cherish the memories of the good times they shared. He also leaves behind his fur babies Romeo and Chief whom he loved greatly.

As we bid farewell to Bobby, we celebrate a life well-lived, a man well-loved, and a legacy that will continue to inspire all who knew him. His laughter may have fallen silent, but the echoes of his joy will resonate in our hearts forever. Bobby's journey on this earth was a testament to the power of love, the joy of friendship, and the beauty of family. He will be profoundly missed, but his spirit will live on in the stories we share and the love we continue to give, just as he would have wanted.

Robert Phillip Miller's life was a journey of joy, connection, and unwavering love. As we say goodbye, we take comfort in knowing that his was a life truly well-lived, and his memory will be treasured by all who were fortunate enough to know him. Rest in peace, Bobby, and thank you for everything.
