Robert Edward Reichner, known affectionately to friends and family as Bob, passed away peacefully on February 3, 2024, in Belleview, Florida. Born on May 2, 1943, in Gloucester, Massachusetts, Bob's life was a testament to his loving nature, unwavering loyalty, and commendable dedication to everything he undertook.

Bob's early years were spent in the Bronx, New York, surrounded by a close-knit circle of aunts, uncles, and cousins. It was there, amid the bustling streets and baseball diamonds, that he developed a lifelong passion for the New York Yankees, a love that paralleled his enthusiasm for the NY Rangers and Georgia Tech sports. His collection of baseball cards and memories of time spent at the beach are treasured by his family, reflecting the joy he found in simple pleasures.

After proudly serving his country for eight years in the Air Force, Bob embarked on a successful career with Delta Airlines, where he dedicated 25 years of service. His commitment to his work was matched only by his devotion to his community, particularly evident through his role as a coach of little league baseball in Carroll County, Georgia. Bob's influence on the young athletes extended far beyond the field, instilling in them the values of teamwork, perseverance, and sportsmanship.

Bob's legacy is carried on by his beloved wife of 23 years, Lori, and their blended family. He was a cherished father to Robert E. Reichner Jr. (Kimberly), David Reichner (Victoria), and Kristina Couch. He was a stepfather who provided guidance and love to Steven Richmond (Amanda), Elizabeth Spalding (Christopher), Graham Richmond, and Catherine Richmond. His role as a grandfather brought him immense joy, and he leaves behind a legacy through his grandchildren Mitch, Emily, Ansley, Ryan, Becca, Addelyn, Lillian, Addison, Zach, and Sarah, as well as step-grandchildren Rebecca, Lillie, James, and Elliott. He also leaves behind his brother Phillip Reichner Jr.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents, Phillip and Anne Reichner, and his sister, Margaret Fusco. He will be remembered as a pillar of strength and love in his family, someone who always provided a listening ear and a helping hand.
