Roopnarine Ken Lall Obituary

Roopnarine "Kenny" Ken Lall, aged 52, passed away peacefully on July 23, 2025, in Ocala, Florida, surrounded by the love of his family. Born on December 31, 1972, in San Fernando, Trinidad, Kenny was a man whose laughter and joy were as warm as the Caribbean sun of his birthplace.

Kenny is survived by his devoted wife of 32 years, Grace, his cherished daughter Risa, and his proud son Rondell. He was a beloved son to his mother, Jagdai Lall, and the late Deodath Lall. He was also a caring brother to Judy Sammy, Shooky, Robin, Trevor, and Ricky. His infectious humor and kind heart will also be missed by his many nieces, nephews, and a host of family and friends who were all touched by his generous spirit.

A talented diesel mechanic, Kenny was renowned for his skill and dedication to his craft. People from all across the United States sought his expertise, and he took great pride in his ability to diagnose and repair even the most challenging of mechanical issues. His work was not just a job but a calling, and his colleagues in the industry will remember him as much for his camaraderie as for his exceptional talents.

Kenny's zest for life extended far beyond his professional endeavors. He was an avid reader who could often be found lost in the pages of a book, and he had a passion for the cinema, appreciating the art of storytelling in all its forms. His adventurous spirit led him to the great outdoors, where he relished in kayaking and jet-skiing, feeling the rush of the wind and the spray of the ocean. Biking through the trails of Florida, he found peace in nature's beauty.

One of Kenny's most endearing qualities was his ability to find joy in simple pleasures, like flying kites with his daughter. These moments, filled with laughter and love, are the memories that his family will hold close to their hearts. His smile, ever-present and comforting, was a beacon of happiness to all who knew him.

Kenny's sense of humor was unmatched. He was the life of any gathering, always ready with a joke or a playful tease, yet he had the rare gift of bringing light to any situation without ever diminishing the feelings of those around him. His willingness to help anyone in need was a testament to his character, and many can attest to the times when Kenny's assistance, often offered before it was even requested, made all the difference.

As we say goodbye to Roopnarine "Kenny" Ken Lall, we celebrate a life lived with love, laughter, and a deep commitment to family and friends. His legacy will continue in the stories shared, the engines that run smoothly because of his touch, and in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to experience his kindness and his joy. Kenny's journey on this earth was a testament to the beauty of a life well-lived, and though he will be deeply missed, his spirit will forever be a guiding light for all who loved him.
