Sandra Marie Ortiz Rodriguez, known fondly as Sandra, was born on August 13, 1950, in New York, New York. She passed away in Ocala, Florida, on September 16, 2023. Sandra was a well-loved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Her zest for life, love for her family, and passion for creativity left a lasting impact on all who knew her.

Sandra's life was marked by her love for her family and her dedication to nurturing those relationships. She is survived by her eight children: Edgar, Isabel, Fred, Lydia, Victor, Nicole, Danny, and Kelly. She was a proud grandmother to 14 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren, each of whom held a special place in her heart.

Sandra was a woman of many passions. She loved to cook, often filling her home with the irresistible aroma of her famous recipes, passed down through generations. Her culinary skills were not only a testament to her love for food, but also a reflection of her love for her family, as she often expressed her affection through her cooking. 

Known for her love of decorating and creating, Sandra had a unique flair for transforming ordinary spaces into extraordinary ones. She had a knack for making everything around her beautiful, whether it was a room in her house or the lives of the people she loved. Her creativity extended beyond the home, as she was often found crafting, painting, or engaging in any activity that allowed her to express her artistic side.

In addition to her creativity, Sandra was recognized for her wisdom. She was a counselor to all - always ready to lend an ear, offer advice, or provide comfort. Her wisdom, coupled with her loving nature, made her a pillar of strength for her family and friends.

Her energy was infectious and her spirit was inspiring. She loved her coffee and bread, a simple pleasure that she often enjoyed in the company of her loved ones.
