Sidney Louis Jarvis was born on August 6, 1937 and passed away on May 6, 2023 due to issues and complications related to health.

Sidney was a passionate man who was full of dreams and hopes. He studied at the University of Washington graduating with a master's degree in political science. He received a bachelor's degree in sociology, as well as a teaching certification which led him to spend a portion of his life dedicated to teaching U.S. history in a high school. Another one of his dedications involved him serving our country as he was a member of the United States Air Force with the title of First Lieutenant.

After retiring from the air force, Sidney decided to enjoy one-third of his life exploring the world. Spending over three decades traveling and encountering the beauties of diverse cultures and lands, he has made sure that every trip has become a memorable day for him. He has traveled to 70 countries and visited all 50 states in the United States. He kept a world map to keep track of his travel record, highlighting every country that he has gone to and reminiscing every fond memory. 

To us, he was a loveable man and friend that we will cherish forever. Remembering the moments when we first met, he was the one always there that we could spend our time with as the air is full of joy and laughter. Hearing the stories of his travels and his knowledge of the world, we are grateful to be able to learn something new every day. Every visit that he made to our home was one that we will always love and we always say goodbye, wishing to see him next time.

Now, this is our final goodbye to Sidney Louis Jarvis. He is a man who has lived a long life full of excitement and joy. To us, he is family. We will always cherish him as one of our closest and best friends and we couldn’t have asked for better. May Sidney continue to live on and flourish in the afterlife.
