Born on November 4, 2006, to Elvia Lugo and Raul Tellez, Sofia's vibrant spirit and creative soul were a gift to all who knew her during her brief but impactful seventeen years of life.

Sofi was a beacon of light and joy within her family. She leaves behind a loving family: her devoted mother Elvia Lugo, her father Raul Tellez, her caring sisters Abigail Mateos, Eveline Lugo, and Elvia Cruz. Her nieces and nephew, Jassiah and Adina Rodriguez and Zion Rodrigues, will miss their aunt's boundless love and playful spirit. Sofi's grandmothers, Margarita Aguirre and Sofia Plata, along with her aunts Margarita Aguirre and Andrea Aguirre, and her special cousin Marisol Magana, will cherish the memories of the special times they shared. A host of extended family and friends also mourn the loss of Sofi, whose presence enriched their lives.

An artist at heart, Sofi possessed an innate talent for drawing, a passion she hoped to channel into a career by opening her own tattoo shop after graduating from high school. Her creative flair extended to her love of doing hair and makeup. Sofi could often be found singing and writing songs, pouring her emotions into her music. Her talents were a true reflection of her inner beauty and strength.

Sofi's love for her niece and nephew was unparalleled. She was a role model to them, not only through her affection but also through the laughter and joy she brought into their lives. Her relationship with her grandmother Margarita was especially close, a bond that was cherished deeply and will be profoundly missed.
