Stella Mary Marczyk Obituary
Stella Mary Marczyk, lovingly referred to by all who knew her as Stella, passed away on October 16, 2025, just two days shy of her 70th birthday. Born on October 18, 1955, in the heart of New Jersey, Stella's life was a vivid tapestry of love, creativity, and selfless service, woven with the threads of family, friendship, and community. She departed this life in the warm and comforting embrace of Ocala, Florida, surrounded by the love of her family.
Stella's life was a testament to the enduring power of love, as she was a devoted partner to her beloved husband, Andrew, for a remarkable 43 years. Together, they built a life rich in joy, laughter, and shared dreams. Her legacy is carried on through her cherished children, Toniann Slagle (Andrew), Annemarie Marczyk, and Andrew Thomas Marczyk Jr. (Melanie Ann), who will forever hold in their hearts the lessons of kindness and resilience their mother instilled in them. Stella's love blossomed further with the addition of her adoring grandchildren, Kevin, Phillip, Connor, Ethan, Ostin, Sean, Dominic, Ava, and Makaila, who brought her immeasurable joy and pride.
Stella's siblings, Elizabeth and Jacob, along with a host of family and friends, also survive her. They remember her as the beacon of light that guided them through life's challenges, always offering a helping hand or a word of encouragement when it was needed most.
A talented artist, Stella had an extraordinary ability to capture the beauty of the world around her on canvas, delighting and inspiring those who had the pleasure of viewing her work. Her passion for art was paralleled only by her love of playing BINGO, a pastime through which she made many lasting friendships and shared countless moments of joy and excitement.
Known for her outgoing nature, Stella never shied away from an opportunity to engage with others. Her warmth and generosity knew no bounds, and she was often described as the person who would give you the shirt off her back without a second thought. Stella's desire to help everyone was more than just a character trait; it was a calling that she answered daily through her actions and interactions.
Above all else, Stella cherished the time spent with her family. Whether it was a large family gathering or a quiet evening at home, these moments were the highlights of her life. Her laughter was infectious, her guidance invaluable, and her presence a comfort to all.
As we bid farewell to Stella Mary Marczyk, we do so with gratitude for the indelible mark she has left on our lives. Her spirit will continue to live on in the memories we hold dear and in the love she so freely gave. Stella's unwavering optimism, her boundless enthusiasm for life, and her enduring love for her family will be sorely missed but never forgotten. Her journey on this earth may have concluded, but her story—etched in the hearts of those she touched—will resonate for generations to come.
