Born on January 29, 1952, in West Palm Beach, Florida, Tom lived a life full of love, service, and unyielding dedication to his family and community.

Tom earned a Master's degree in Mental Health and turned his passion for helping others into a successful career. For over 35 years, he worked tirelessly as a mental health counselor, providing support and guidance to troubled kids. His intelligence and empathy made him an invaluable asset in his field. Tom's love for life was evident in his vibrant personality. Those who knew him could attest to his outgoing nature and zest for life. He was a man of many interests, and he embraced each one with enthusiasm. A high school and Marine Corps football player, Tom's love for the game never waned. He was a fervent supporter of his favorite teams and enjoyed watching both football and baseball games.

A true Floridian at heart, Tom had a deep love for the outdoors. He found peace and joy in fishing and boating, often sharing these experiences with his loved ones. His infectious laughter and spirited stories made every boat trip an adventure to remember.

Tom's dedication extended beyond his career and passions to his family, whom he cherished deeply. He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Marilyn Kay. Their love story was one for the ages, filled with mutual respect, admiration, and an enduring love that stood the test of time. Tom's legacy will continue to live on through his devoted daughters, Merideth Kay(Roscoe) and Michelle Kay Vadnais(John).  He is also survived by his brother Richard Kay (Eilene).

The joy of Tom's life was his grandchildren, Wayne Paul, Dylan Thomas Vadnais, Nickolas Vadnais, and Emily Vadnais. He took immense pride in their accomplishments and cherished every moment spent with them. Tom was also blessed with great-grandchildren, Thomas Greyson, Brylee, Pyper, Rory, and Niko. His love for his family was boundless, and he instilled in them values of kindness, resilience, and the importance of family bonds.

Tom will always be remembered as a man who loved deeply, lived passionately, and served generously. He had an incredible ability to light up any room, and his memory will continue to shine brightly in the hearts of all who knew him.
