Victor Manuel Velazquez, passed away peacefully on March 1, 2024, in Citra, Florida at the age of 75. Born on August 30, 1948, in Arroyo, Puerto Rico, Victor's journey through life was marked by his unwavering love for his family, his passion for the simple joys in life, and his deep faith.

Victor is survived by his beloved wife of 53 years, Maria, who has been his steadfast partner in every adventure and challenge they faced together. Their loving bond was reflected in their beautiful family, including their children Milly Holden and her husband Lee, Victor Velazquez Jr. and his wife Ruth Ann, Elizabeth Girouard and her husband David, Esther Velazquez and Melba Johnson and her husband Bill. Victor was a cherished grandfather to Aleyna, Daniela, Leila, Kendra, Emily, Gabriella, and Celine, David and he was blessed to meet his great-granddaughter Eden, who brought him immense joy in his final weeks.

 Victor loved deep sea diving and wanted to be the next Jacques Cousteau. His garden was a testament to his patience and care, yielding bountiful harvests that he generously shared with loved ones. Victor's culinary skills were legendary, and his kitchen was a place of warmth and laughter, where he prepared delicious meals that brought everyone together.

Victor's loved antique cars, especially Cadillacs. An enthusiast of boxing, Victor loved to watch the matches, analyzing the skills and strategies of the fighters with an expert eye.

Above all, Victor was a man of faith. He read his Bible daily, drawing strength and guidance from its pages. As an Elder in his church, he served his congregation with humility and wisdom, always ready to lend a listening ear or offer a word of support. His faith was the cornerstone of his existence, and it radiated out to touch all who knew him.

Victor's laughter was infectious, his jokes a source of unending amusement. His happiness was a beacon that drew people to him, and his caring, generous, and affectionate nature made him a friend to many. Victor's love for his family was his most defining quality. They were the core of his world, and he left no doubt in their minds that they were his greatest pride and joy.

His legacy is etched in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know him, and his memory will be cherished forever. Victor's journey on this earth has ended, but his spirit lives on, guiding us with the same love and wisdom that he shared so freely during his time with us.
