Wilda Louise Finn Obituary

Wilda Louise Finn was born on January 11, 1949, in Ashburn, Georgia, and passed away on October 1, 2026, in Ocala, Florida.

Wilda lived a life marked by warmth, humor, and a deep devotion to the people she loved. She was a woman with a big personality, a ready smile, and a wonderful laugh that could brighten any room. Those who knew her will remember her for the kindness she showed so freely, the great hugs she gave so often, and the joy she found in the simple and meaningful moments of life. She carried herself with grace and strength, and she left a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to know her.

Family was at the center of Wilda’s life. She especially cherished being present in the lives of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and she took great pride in each of them. She is survived by her children, William Topper and his wife LeeAnn, and her daughter Erica Collini. She also leaves behind her beloved grandchildren Mason, Tadd, Logan, Kirsten, and Madison, as well as her great-grandchildren Barrett, Nash, Navy, Aurora, Calder, Lakey, Elliott, and Aurthur. Her family circle also includes her brother Gordon Wynn, her sister Linda Bennett, her nieces Cheryl Cordes, Kimberly Wynn, and Susan Parry, and her nephews Christopher Wynn, James Wynn, Jeff Wynn, Jason Wynn, Aaron Wynn, Joey Bennett, and William Bennett. Her love for her family was evident in all she did, and her presence will be deeply missed by all who were blessed to share in her life.

Wilda enjoyed many pastimes that reflected her curiosity and appreciation for beauty. She loved making jewelry, and she found joy in creating with her hands. She was an avid reader who appreciated a good book, and she loved to travel and see new places. Among her favorite pleasures were trips to the beach, visits to lighthouses, and watching butterflies. These simple joys brought her happiness and reflected her appreciation for the wonder found in the world around her.

She was also active in her community and enjoyed the fellowship of others through her membership in the Madison Garden Club and the Red Hat Society. These organizations were a fitting reflection of her vibrant spirit and her enjoyment of friendship, conversation, and shared experiences. Wilda valued connection, and she was happiest when surrounded by the people and activities that brought meaning to her days.

Wilda’s life was one of love, laughter, and enduring family bonds. Her memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her, especially in the stories, smiles, and traditions she leaves behind. Though she is no longer with us, the example of her kindness, her lively spirit, and her devotion to family will continue to be felt for generations to come.
